Yesterday...

It all began in 1993 when an Italian family moved from Italy to Cape Town, taking with them the Love for “the culture of cooking ” like the famous basil pesto, focaccia and sun dried tomatoes.
The Family opened a little Deli in Cape Town and their delicious pasta was loved by all who tasted it, and attracted a loyal following.
As the business grew they decided to supply the retail industry and opened a small factory in Muizenberg.

 

Today...

The “small factory” is now an established known reality. The owners are still Italians and joined by , the Italian renowned Chef and restaurateur Giogio Nava, as partner.
The Italian tradition of homemade pasta, sauces, and ready-made meals continues. We pride ourselves in Pasta Fresca’s quality products made from only the freshest and locally sourced ingredients with no added anything apart from a lot of Italian love!
All products are Halaal certified.


SAFFAM (SOUTH AFRICAN FOOD FACILITY AND MANAGEMENT) is a company that carries out its business in the Food sector. at the level of production, import and distribution . Thanks to the entry of Chef Giorgio Nava it has also specialized in offering its institutional and private customers a highly professional 360 ° service. The factory is based in Muizenberg, Cape Town with an operating area of over 1,000 square meters, 30 employees and a management team that has been working in the company for over 10 years.
